Conservas Cusumano
Conservas Cusumano
Our roots
Conservas Cusumano, S.A. was founded in the 1960s by Salvador Cusumano, an Italian migrant who cured anchovies using old traditions hailing from his native Sicily. Over time, Cusumano grew its product range, first with albacore, which was followed by tuna and then other products, before reaching the comprehensive range it offers to customers today.
Our facilities
Conservas Cusumano’s new, state-of-the-art facilities are located in Mundaka, within the incomparable Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Spanning almost 6,000m2, this building allows the company to efficiently meet customer needs while ensuring product quality at all times.
Environmental management
Conservas Cusumano is committed to having a Quality, Food Safety and Environment Management System in place at all times. It will endeavour to update this system, while providing the staff and resources necessary to ensure it functions correctly.
